Buyer Representation

How Representation Works With Builders

The builder's on-site representative works for the builder. Charles reviews the contract, incentives, timeline, inspections, and walkthroughs with your interests in mind — and most builders require registration on your first visit.

Do I need my own agent to buy new construction?

You are not required to have one, but a builder's sales representative works for the builder. Independent representation gives you someone reviewing the contract, incentives, and timeline on your behalf.

Does using an agent cost me more?

Compensation arrangements vary by builder and by agreement. Charles will explain the arrangement that applies to your situation in writing before you tour.

Should I register Charles before visiting a model home?

Most builders require your agent to accompany or register you on your first visit for representation to apply. Contact Charles before your first tour.

Are incentives guaranteed?

No. Incentives, rates, prices, and availability change frequently and may carry qualification requirements.
